Sharing the road in Europe: "Move over so I can get going!”

The VINCI Autoroutes Foundation publishes the results of the 3rd edition of the "Sharing the Road" study. Following on from the Baromètre de la conduite responsable (Responsible Driving Barometer), this Ipsos survey looks specifically at the behaviour of Europeans confronted with coexistence between different modes of transport. Whether they are motorists, motorised two-wheelers, cyclists or pedestrians, how much attention do they pay to other road users? How well do they respect the rules of road sharing? Is their behaviour influenced by the different modes of transport they use? The responses from 12,400 Europeans, including 2,400 from France, demonstrate that all road users must be made aware of the need to respect others and the rules, so that they can coexist harmoniously on the road.
